The Club has been in existence since November 1982. Have you ever wondered what it was like in those early days? Well, now you can find out. We have just added the full archive of Club newsletters from the very first hand written issue in November 1982 to the latest computer compiled newsletter for this month. From reduced engine power on take off resulting in landing on the main road, stopping the traffic and pushing the aircraft along the road back to the airfield to today’s use of Pilot Aware and GPS to fly all over Europe. It’s all there!
You can find all the newsletters by clicking on “Airscrew Newsletters Archive 1982 – 2018” under the “Airscrew” heading in the Menu at the top of the Club Home Page. Happy reading and reminiscences – particularly for our “longer in the air” pilots!
